Belgian IPA is technically not recognized as a style. And that's never stopped us before.
This hybrid of ours marries American hops and Belgian farmhouse ale yeast to create a super hoppy, fully integrated beer that’s equal parts fruity, floral and herbal. And though it might not be recognized as a style, it’s immediately recognized as delicious.
We’re writing it.
Hay colored with a white, foamy head and traditional “Belgian lacing” on the glass. The beer’s haze is indicative of the farmhouse ale yeast and the absence of filtration or other artificial methods of clarification.
The grapefruit nose, provided by the American hops, is joined by both floral and herbal aromas.
The taste of fresh grapefruit is accentuated by floral and herbal notes and accompanied by a malt bill that supports but doesn’t overwhelm the hop character, all the while building to a crisp, citrusy finish.
